Venessa followed in the footsteps of her beloved great-grandmother Ella who was also a hair stylist. Professionally trained at the Hair Academy in New Carrollton, Maryland, Venessa’s adeptness as an artist was distinctly natural. Not to mention it is her passion!

Faithfully she attends classes, hair and fashion shows; devours countless books, new articles, magazines and internet publications with respect to the latest hair trends, styles, techniques, styling tools and implements in order to stay abreast of what’s new in the industry.

 

On a higher level, Venessa has worked behind the scenes for Fox 5, Good Day D.C., New York Fashion Week and numerous fashion events and hair shows.
